The Backwards Cat

Why is this cat meowing at the door to get in?

Because, she has to pee. That's right, I am the proud owner of a cat who believes she must hold her bladder as long as she's outside. After all, you wouldn't want to pee on the plants or dirt, Heaven knows. That would be gross. So my cat meows frantically at my door until I let her in, so she can pee on my floor. How did I get so lucky?

All this and heaven too!! And I love it!! I am trying to decide if I need a haircut. You think you do and then when you are getting ready your hair starts to look so metro. What's a poor boy to do?

Snapping out,

D

PS - Cool snaps!

How come you are so lucky to get a comment that must belong to some other post?

Actually, what I recommend for your cat is that you dig up some dirt and and then put it in a box, and then put your cat in the box and close the lid. Then, once the cat really just can't hold it any longer, she will realize how much better it is to use dirt.

My cats just figured out how much more fun it is to use the kitty litter box rather than going outside and so now I actually have to change the kitty litter box.

Yeah, changing the kitty litter is the reason I have thus far resisted the temptation to buy a kitty litter box. But my resistance is being diluted by large quantities of cat pee on the floor.

The other reason I have resisted is that I understand the statistical consequences of spending money on a pet. The more money you spend on pet accessories, the more likely some dog is to chow down on it the next day leaving you with nothing but useless pet accessories and debt. Chule has already had one close call with two dogs. She fortunately got nothing but some scrapes and whiplash, but next time who knows.
