Before...

Here we set about Whitewashing the Church. I used to think whitewashing was somewhat like painting, but I found out there is a big difference. Or many differences, actually -- one of which is, whitewash contains lime which deteriorates your skin and leaves you feeling rather exfoliated. Cheaper but not as cosmetically friendly as Alpha-Hydroxy.

After about 10 coats of whitewash, it was still debateable whether the shade of the walls had changed at all. However, we could tell that our hard work was not completely in vain, because we sensed the difference in ourselves...

And that is what it is all about.
